Data Room Direct also offers a dedicated range of UK manufactured data cabinets and server racks. Our UK-built cabinets are available in multiple sizes, are supplied fully assembled as standard with flat-pack supply available on request, and have a standard lead time of approximately 3–5 working days.

Choosing the Correct Data or Server Cabinet

When choosing a cabinet, consider the required U height, equipment depth, cabinet width, airflow, cable management, power distribution and future expansion. Server equipment can require significantly more depth than switches and patch panels, so always check the dimensions of the equipment being installed before selecting your rack.

Allowing additional rack capacity can also provide useful space for future equipment, rack PDUs, cable management and other cabinet accessories.
