Power UK and IEC equipment from a single rack power distribution unit.

This hybrid PDU combines UK BS1363 sockets and IEC C13 outlets, making it ideal for server racks, network cabinets and technical installations containing equipment with different power connections.

Using one mixed-socket PDU can provide a cleaner installation and reduce the need to install separate UK and IEC power distribution units within the same cabinet.

Technical Specifications

One PDU for Mixed Rack Equipment

Hybrid PDUs are particularly useful where a rack contains both equipment fitted with UK mains plugs and IT hardware powered using IEC connections.

The UK sockets can accommodate suitable BS1363 plugs, while the IEC C13 outlets accept IEC C14 plugs from compatible equipment power leads.

Choosing the Correct Configuration

Select the combination of UK and IEC outlets that best matches the equipment in your rack, followed by an input connection compatible with your mains supply or UPS output.

Individual socket ratings do not determine the total capacity of the PDU. The combined connected load must remain within the overall rating of the selected unit and its input supply.
