Technical Specifications

French Type E Socket Compatibility

French CEE 7/5 sockets use a projecting earth pin. They are not the same outlet design as German Schuko sockets, which use side earthing contacts.

Check that your equipment plugs are compatible with Type E sockets. Do not assume that every plug described as European or Schuko will fit.

Choosing Your Configuration

Select the number of outlets required, then choose an input connection compatible with your mains supply or UPS output. Allow sufficient mounting space and clearance for connected plugs and cables.

The combined equipment load must remain within the rating of the complete PDU and its supply connection. Adding more outlets does not increase the unit’s overall electrical capacity.
