32A UK Rack Power Distribution Units

High-capacity rack power distribution for installations requiring a 32A single-phase input.

DRD 32A UK PDUs are designed for higher-power server racks, data centres and communications installations where greater overall capacity is required than a standard 13A or 16A PDU can provide.

The range uses upgraded internal wiring together with a 3-metre 4mm² mains lead and is available in horizontal and vertical configurations to suit different rack layouts.

Horizontal & Vertical 32A PDUs

Choose a horizontal model for conventional rack mounting or a vertical PDU where power distribution needs to run alongside the equipment mounting area.

Different UK socket quantities are available depending on the selected configuration. Check the dimensions and socket count of your chosen model before ordering.

Designed for Higher-Power Rack Installations

The 32A input provides increased overall capacity for racks containing multiple servers, storage systems, networking equipment and other IT hardware.

Each UK socket remains rated at 13A. The combined load of all connected equipment must remain within the overall rating of the complete PDU and its supply circuit.

Installation Requirements

A 32A PDU requires a suitable 32A supply and should be installed as part of an appropriately designed electrical system. Always ensure the upstream circuit protection, supply connection and connected equipment are suitable for the intended load.
